Heather Wensley

Heather Wensley

Church Street,
Lyme Regis,

Many classic jazz songs have been featured in Hollywood films and Broadway shows. This concert is a chance to soak up some of the glamour, while in our lovely bar overlooking Lyme Bay. Expect tunes like ‘Get Happy’ as originally performed by Judy Garland, and ‘I’ve got the World on a String’ as sung by Frank Sinatra.
Your guide will be vocalist Heather Wensley, accompanied by Philip Clouts at the piano. After graduating in music performance in Manchester, Heather’s reputation as a vocalist has gone from strength to strength, delighting audiences. Heather’s influenced by artists as diverse as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Chaka Khan, but has developed her own unique and unforgettable singing style.
Heather’s career has taken her all over the UK and abroad performing for festivals, arts centres, and private clients including Jasper Conran, and Harvey Nichols. She also performs as a guest with the popular ‘Swing Machine Jazz Orchestra’, which features some of the top musicians in the UK.
