Walking Treasure Hunt
2nd August, 10.00am - 5.00pm
The Rotary Club of Lyme Regis is holding “The Great Rotary Treasure Hunt” in the town. All proceeds in aid of the Dorset based children’s charity Julia’s House.
This is a great opportunity to explore our town and have fun whilst doing so. Its suitable for both adults and children, although we do ask that all children under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult. We will take you on a tour of the old parts of town, the gardens, the famous Cobb and along the Marine Parade. We will ask you to provide the answers to 44 questions, all of which are to be found along the route.
Forms will be available ON THE DAY in the Jubilee Shelters from 10 am until 5 pm. They must be returned by 7 pm on the day. Winners will be announced as soon as possible after that. In the event of a tie the judges will draw the winner from a hat.
We ask only for £3.00 per entry, and offer a First Prize of £40, with Second and Third Prizes of £20 and £10. All profits will go to Julia’s House.
So come along, rain or shine, and join in the fun. There are some teasers to test you, riddles to rile you and anagrams to annoy you.
Have Fun!! And at the same time support a really worthwhile charity!!
