ArtsFest Grand Opening Ceremony
The 2012 Lyme Regis ArtsFest kicks of with the Grand Opening Ceremony at 12 noon on Saturday 8th September at the Marine Parade Shelters.
Officially opening the event will be Mayor Sally Holman, with Town Crier Alan Vian and Deputy Mayor Anita Williams. They will then lead a walkabout taking in the major exhibitions and Art Trail which everyone is welcome to join. The Town Crier will be attracting attention to what is on offer during ArtsFest with cries along their route.
Playing at the opening ceremony will be 4 talented saxophonists who are members of BSharp, students at Woodroffe School. They will perform at 12.00 whilst the Arts and Crafts Market is underway at the Marine Parade Shelters.
