Jazz, Blues & Beer Festival to swing into Lyme Regis
There will be a treat in store for anyone visiting Lyme Regis this May, as the newly rebranded Jazz, Blues & Beer Festival rolls into town.
Previously known as the Lyme Regis Jazz Festival, organisers have decided to increase diversity and widen appeal by branching out into new territory, making the 2012 programme more exciting than ever before.
Taking place between the 25th and 27th May, the festival has been completely revamped and is this year being coordinated by an all-new committee, headed by Tony Colston, a local restaurateur.
Set to showcase a fine selection of talented jazz and blues acts across a range of venues, including the Louis Armstrong Tribute Band and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, the popular and unique Umbrella Parade will also be featuring at the seafront on Saturday 26th.
Lyme Regis hotels are sure to be full over the weekend, with fans of both good music and good ale flocking to the seaside town to enjoy this great new event.
