Jurassic Airlines is Seeking Air Stewards and Stewardesses

As part of the Jurassic Coast Earth Festival 2012, the Onboard (Jurassic Airlines) flight experience is being developed by Richard Hartnell (Hartnell Creative) in Uplyme.

Onboard Jurassic Airline in Lyme RegisThis cutting edge technology will bring a 737, low-carbon time machine to Lyme Regis and Weymouth this summer to offer passengers a trip back 185 million years, to fly with pterodactyls, cruise along the Jurassic Coast, plunge under Jurassic seas to view the pliosaurs and ammonites swimming around, then leap into hyperspace and take in some other World Heritage Sites on its way back to land.

Onboard will offer a real aircraft experience, and Richard is looking for people to train to be airline stewards and stewardesses, to check boarding passes, do on-board safety demonstrations and generally look after passengers. It is hoped that flights won't encounter much turbulence, but helpers should be prepared just in case.

Onboard will be in the Shelters at Lyme Regis 4-10 May, and at Weymouth during the Olympic and Paralympic Games (26 July - 9 September).
