Lyme Regis ArtsFest looking for contributors
Sally Holman, director of the 10th Lyme Regis ArtsFest, has called for anyone interested in contributing to the annual event to get in contact and put their ideas forward.
This year, the celebration will be part of the Cultural Olympiad’s Earth Festival, and organisers are determined to make it one to remember.
The wide-ranging event, which is intended to be a joint promotion of the arts and science, will take place between the 8th and 16th September at various locations around the town and will include a number of visual and performance art displays, as well as a selection of workshops introducing visitors to dance, drama, music and literature.
Now, Holman has invited local and visiting arts practitioners to bring their skills to the event, pointing out that people do not need to have been part of the ArtsFest before to be included.
Anyone who does decide to bring their talent to the occasion will also benefit from free advertising and the festival’s organisers will also suggest locations at which they can display their projects.
