Lyme Regis Museum and National Science Week

The Jurassic Coast is famous for both the number of fossils that can be found along its length and the level of erosion that it undergoes every year, exposing more fossils all the time. That makes Lyme Regis a great destination for fossil fanatics, and staying in Lyme Regis accommodation next weekend will be the perfect way to find out more about them.

On Saturday, a free talk will be given at the museum about why landslides occur and how to predict them. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday you can meet at the museum at 11.45am, 12.30pm and 1pm respectively to head out on a fossil walk along the coast. Booking is advisable for these walks, and can be done on 01297 443370.
