Leaving Lyme Regis Town Council after 31 years’ service, Pat Stamp finally stepped down as secretary to the council and as Mayor’s Secretary on Friday 17 August.
Mayor Sally Holman hosted a formal retirement presentation for Pat in the Jubilee Pavilion, attended by current staff and councillors and immediate past councillors, including 6 of the 13 mayors whom Pat has served. Staff and councillors presented gifts, speeches from Town Clerk Mike Lewis and the Mayor thanked Pat for her loyal, dedicated service and wished her a happy retirement.
