Record number of entries for Town Mill Open Art Competition
The Town Mill Open Art competition launches with its preview on Saturday 23 June 2012 from 12-2pm at The Town Mill Malthouse, Mill Lane, Lyme Regis.
This year over a hundred entries have been received resulting in a really interesting mix of media and painting styles. All are welcome at the preview, where the 3 winners will be announced. The exhibition is open 11am to 4pm, 7 days a week from 23 June until 22 July 2012.
If you are staying in Lyme Regis accommodation, just visiting for the day or lucky enough to live here, why not come down and see the exhibition and vote for your favourite piece of work. There is a people's prize for the piece of work most voted for during the course of the exhibition.
The businesses of Lyme Regis have also generously donated towards a raffle and tickets are available throughout the exhibition. Prizes include vouchers for meals, wine, beer, hampers and other gifts. All proceeds will go to the Town Mill Charitable Trust.
