The Easter Bonnet Parade in Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis is the perfect place to visit if you want to get away on an Easter Break.
There’s sun, sea, sand and, thanks to a great event that has been organised on Sunday April 8, something a little bit special for Easter.
If you’re getting away to a Lyme Regis B&B for your Easter trip, then head down to the town centre on Easter Sunday to see the Easter Bonnet Parade. Members of the public will get to show off the Easter-themed bonnets that they have made and take part in the parade through the town streets. Once everybody has had a chance to see all the entries, the winner will be judged, and the creator of the best hat in each age category will receive a prize.
So why not make the most of Easter and enjoy the parade? If you really want to get into the spirit of things, make your own bonnet and enter yourself. Everybody meets at 1.30pm and the event will last for two hours.
