Lyme Regis - The Cobb

This is April, this is Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis residents and visitors are enjoying breakfast in glorious sunshine, lunch time in hail bearing thunderstorms and finishing with a clear-skied evening drink.

The English weather is always fascinating in the way that it can flip on a ten pence piece, and April 2012 has successfully trumped its predecessors' flippancy.  The region is experiencing the defining 'April Shower' month that bathes the Jurassic coast in impressionable light and masterful meteorology.

The coastal resort is interesting whatever the weather, but when the sun comes out it really does put the spring into the town's step. Summer 2012 is lined up to be a cracking season, and with some of the much-loved warm weather, Lyme Regis should provide a fantastic, classic English holiday for all ages.

Now, all we ask is that on 1st May the weather appreciates our English patience, for which we're famous, and allows us all to bask  in dawn to dusk sunshine for the summer months.
