Details

Bandleader and alto saxophonist, Duncan Anselm, recreates the sound of Blue Note artists such as Sonny Clark and Hank Mobley, with swinging American songbook standards and Duncan's own compositions. This is up-tempo cool jazz with finger-popping grooves and lively soloing at its best. And for one night only, they’ll be joined by special guest, Nigel Price, the most dynamic and gifted guitarist playing on the UK jazz scene. He regularly gigs at Ronnie Scott’s and last year completed a 50 date sell-out country-wide tour. A classy finale to Jazz Jurassica’s second season.
