On the Jurassic Coast 2 by David Brooke

Bridge Street,

The first artist in an exciting new series of solo art exhibitions created by Lyme Bay Arts for the Lyme Regis Museum’s Rotunda Gallery is David Brooke. David’s distinctive acrylic paintings evoke mythology and folk tales, but these story elements are a device to draw people into the work and encourage them to create their own stories, mysteries and adventures from the intriguing images.
A member and Past President of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, Bridport-based David is also a member, and regularly exhibits with, the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts, the National Acrylic Painters’ Association, the Society for Art of the Imagination and the Bath Society of Artists.
