Luxury glamping in beautifully appointed large canvas lodges, perfect for families, couples and groups, set in the beautiful Axe Valley adjacent to the River Axe near to the impressive Jurassic coastline.
Lower Keats is the ultimate destination for luxury glamping in Devon. Immerse yourself in a simpler way of life in one of our six safari lodges. Lush green pastures and unadulterated night skies offer the chance to truly unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

No cold midnight treks to the loos or cold showers here. Our lodges have their own kitchens and ensuite bathrooms, with hot running water in both, proper beds and wood burning stoves to keep you snug and warm. At Lower Keats we’ve thought of everything, even an additional full size gas hob, for that early morning cuppa or cooking without the need to fire up the stove, so that all you will need to do is sit back and enjoy your stay.

We hope you enjoy exploring Lower Keats and have a very relaxing and restful stay with us. You can meet and feed the animals, collect the eggs, help with farming duties or simply use us as a base to explore the beautiful countryside. We are on the Devon, Somerset and Dorset borders – so the West Country really is your oyster.

Coastal and Country themed lodges with luxury indulgence with country charm.

We stock a small range of camping essentials, delicious local produce, drinks, picnic snacks and ice creams in our onsite honesty shop – The Lower Keats Larder.

Lower Keats Glamping is set in farmland and in places the terrain is uneven and the field is on a slight incline, so please make sure that all of your party are aware of this and wear suitable footwear. It is not a campsite with paved paths therefore three wheel pushchairs maybe more suitable than buggies. The lodges are 150 metres from the car parking area -remember luggage will have to be transported across the field to the lodge in a wheelbarrow!

Wellies or crocs are easiest for children and adults, as they can be kicked off on the decks before entering the lodge. For further information visit:
